Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Minnesota Twinsights: Max Kepler holding his own in the Arizona Fall League » Twins Now Several quotes from AFL/NB manager Jeff Smith regarding Max Kepler and how well he's doing in the AFL, his elbow, and how well he fits in.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Good to see. A lot went right for the Twins minor leagues this year but he was one of the few bad seasons. Hopefully, he has a nice bounceback next year.
kab21 Verified Member Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Kepler's season wasn't even that bad considering how little experience he had before signing with the Twins. He was considered a longer project than most. The other really encouraging thing about his season is that his BB and K rates are really good while he showed some power. His statline looks bad due to a .254 BAPIP. Adjust that up to .300 and he would have had an awesome statline.
