Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 The girl lost to Brazil today. Not unexpected given it was on their home turf. It was frustrating though, because they put themselves in a position to upset, but didn't seal the deal. Now its off to Belgrade Serbia for pool 2. I assume your daughter has a passport and is used to airports by now.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I assume your daughter has a passport and is used to airports by now. She had been around the world twice before she got comfortable with it.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 She had been around the world twice before she got comfortable with it.Its kinda cool, they circle the globe in this tournament. I think I'm going to go to Japan to catch the finals. If they win it will be a record 4 consecutive gold medals in the World Gran Prix.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I assume... You have a passport and are used to airports by now. Yeah, I'm good. I get hassled once in a while though, because I weighed about 255 and had a full beard in my passport pic. Now I'm 195 and clean shaven.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Whats the most beautiful location you've seen? Somewhere in Asia I suppose. Thailand was beautiful, but Japan is my favorite country to visit.

NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I haven't done any research on this Peacock guy, but judging by today's outing, he's gotta be a front-runner for the Cy Young this year.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 Rome was pretty fricking cool too. I've never left the continent. Been to Canada and that's about it. Living in Eastern North Dakota... I'm scenery starved. When I visit places like Colorado Springs or even Wisconsin Dells. I can't stop looking at the hills and mountains.

I started my globetrotting ways when my kid made the National Team. I'd kick myself if I missed out on watching her play for her country.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Imagine that. Career high in strikeouts for peacock.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Who comes in for Peacock, Throatwarbler Mangrove?
