That experiment is over. A DFA'd corner bat with no power and no on base skills wasn't a popular signing, but it is encouraging they cut bait despite giving up and actual real-life AA pitcher to get him. They have tried to squeeze all the juice out of these kinds of moves in the past.

Replacing him is new pitcher Christian Roa pictured here:

Sorry, check that. This is a photo of the extinct flightless bird the Moa, which was known for it's pinpoint command. Roa on the other hand appears to significantly struggle hitting the zone. But he does bring the heat which the current bullpen is lacking.
