Chance Provisional Member Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I wasn't able to pay attention to the game last night but when I went and watched the highlights this morning I seen the play that Clete was called out on. Why does there seem to be a play like that in every series and almost every game against the Yankees? The ump was in perfect position on that play. He made a terrible call. But this is just starting to get ridiculous with the frequency of these calls being made when we play the Yankees. Anyone else getting extremely annoyed by this?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I thought it was the correct call. Thomas was running in fair territory.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I thought his feet never touched the grass. By my understanding of the rule, that was an awful call. Luckily, for the first time in what feels like forever, it didn't cost us the game. I was just waiting for the next half inning to have a Yankee 2-run homer and another loss. It felt inevitable until Florimon came up.
