Despite an embarrassing collapse, the Minnesota Twins don't appear to be making any major changes this offseason. Derek Falvey will be back. Rocco Baldelli will be back. My question is this: Why should Twins fans be optimistic things are going to work in 2025 with the exact same leadership and no expectations of increased payroll? In this video, I discuss Falvey, Baldelli and Joe Pohlad. I also react to some of the quotes coming out in the wake of the collapse. From the outside looking in, it seems like we can speculate there may be some friction between Carlos Correa and the veterans and Royce Lewis and the younger guys.

They may be quite worse; if Kepler, Santana & Farmer are gone, the infield will a sieve, and while Wallner has a strong arm he is no Kepler and belongs in Left field where the arm can make a difference.

Do not know who the FO will bring in, or let go, but right now the future looks bleak.

So Rocco and FO have some job security.  We can only hope they take a good long look in the mirror and see the changes in their approach to running this ball club.

I would suggest they take a cue from the competition.  Detroit prides itself on being unpredictable.  KC is very aggressive.  Cleveland battles to win every AB whether pitching or hitting.  Of course, this new approach would require moving some players.  Lewis could bring back some established talent...same for Jax and Lee.  We need to remember that to get proven talent we need to offer proven talent.  Case in point is the Arreaz for Lopez deal.  Otherwise we give away futures for questionable talent.
