I don't follow the NBA draft like I used to so I'm a bit out of touch, but what the heck is going on here? The Wolves actually got the #8 pick this year by trading picks in 2030 and 2031? That's insane. What are the odds that the same people will even be running either team seven years from now? Why would San Antonio's GM even consider that?

for MN? Virtually zero.

They can only deal so many first round picks, or somesuch. They also deal for the player picked, not the pick, which is stupid. The dude they took is TINY!

Do they have to tell the team who they want them to pick as they make the trade?
