Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 We did it! A person on Reddit created a fun thread on the r/baseball community and concluded that the September 29th game vs. Chicago White Sox was indeed the most meaningless game of the season.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I love the concept but the Reddit poster forgot about Aaron Judge’s Triple Crown bid and that Arraez, of the Twins, was the batting average leader! That should have been listed in either the poster’s ‘award leader’ or ‘something interesting’ group, and eliminated the Twins from consideration for this terrible ignominy. (Maybe next year!) By the way, both Arraez and Judge woke up on the morning of Sept. 29 with a .313 batting average.
