Hey, look, it's Joe Benson! He's 6-15 in his last four games and raised his BA over .200 and OPS to .603. He has a double, two triples and a homer and a stolen base in those four games.

This is the third straight 4-0 day for Twins farm teams IIRC. That would include 13 victories counting Rochester's win in the suspended extra inning game. The overall record for the four teams is now 54-33 despite Rochester's 9-14 record. This is definitely the most talent in the Twins' farm system that I can remember.

Harrison's game winning hit was only a single not a grand slam.

Actually, it was, until it wasn't. (See Jeremy's explanatory article).

Originally the boxscore listed it as a HR and 4 RBI's. Kind of funny that neither Hicks nor Walker bothered to round the bases and stole HR from Harrison.

Hold off on your criticism of Hicks and Walker. It was the craziest damn thing I've seen in a long time and I'm not convinced yet the umpires got it completely right. I shot video with my camera and it may take a month or two (slight exaggeration) for it to load so I can post it, but then you can judge for yourself.

I get the feeling this is going to be good. Might this even go viral?

You don't have to wait for my video to download. Jeff Johnson of the Gazette has posted his and apparently has put it on YouTube. Jeff and I were sitting almost next to one another and captured roughly the same thing. It looks to me like Hicks and Walker did "abandon" their advances between 3rd and home and ran out toward the middle of the infield. Harrison made it past 2B before getting mobbed. It does kind of look like Hicks and Walker may eventually return to the baseline and jog home before Harrison gets there.

Definitely bizarre.

I was just looking at the box score/play-by-play recap. I take back what I previously said. That should stand as a walkoff GS regardless of what it was officially ruled! He sure smacked that ball. GJ Harrison!
