Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Okay, don't laugh. I have an arthritic condition in one foot that has resulted in me wearing custom orthotics and stiff-soled shoes with a bit of a rocker bottom. Alas, all my glorious high heels and designer shoes are out the window in place of the clunkiness of, well, shoes like Hoka Bondi and the like. So, found this brand ... DeckersXLab ... and they look very promising and fit my need for 'unique' shoes. (Yeah, okay, I could put a link to Fluevogs here, but I won't.) Anyway ... anyone ever try these? All the reviews seem very positive, but, just thought I'd ask. Anyone?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 No, but good luck. Trouble walking is a real mofo.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 19, 2022 Author Posted March 19, 2022 Well, bought a pair and am trying them out ... initial opinion is 'Wow, this is a GREAT shoe!' but we'll see if it helps with my particular infliction of Hallux Rigidus. It's only been a day of trying thus far. But ... a very sturdy, well-made shoe with really solid, great support.
