I just posted about this on another thread. If Liriano had not been injured, this trade would have been a disaster for the Giants. As it stands, they just look like idiots for not paying AJ and getting his best seasons. I used to think it was a horrible deal, but in reality Liriano had 1.5 good seasons and Nathan was an elite closer (granted, against the AL Central).
