JadenPoint Provisional Member Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Still waiting for that comeback win, when trailing into the 7th or later. Opposing bullpens have really been tough on our guys this season!

twinbythebay Verified Member Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 He was available last night, according to Rocco.Rocco said that Clippard told him that he was available, but he never said he was considering using him. I'd much rather see Rocco give him a few days off to be sure he's alright instead of letting him pitch in a not very meaningful regular season game.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Source?Clippard (elbow) played catch Tuesday and could be available to pitch in the team's game against Cleveland, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.Spin: Clippard was hit by a line drive on his elbow in Sunday's win, but initial imaging came back clean. His throwing session Tuesday apparently went well, and manager Rocco Baldelli said that he'll be available out of the bullpen if needed. The right-hander has been effective for the Twins this season, carrying a 1.42 ERA and 0.79 WHIP over 12.2 innings during 12 appearances (two starts). From ESPN.
