It really is highly annoying. The last game I went to the friend I was with joked that they'd have to eliminate the noise if they had an epilepsy awareness night at Target Field.

I wonder if anyone has thought to desihgn a stadium like airline seats. You can plug your headphones into the seats if you want, but you don't have to.

While I am unable to participate in the game thread tonight, I hope it is filled with references to the Glenn Sparkmann Experience, and how he once sold me a used Ski-doo. Or maybe I took Intro to Professions in Outdoor Recreation with him. No, he worked at the grain elevato. That’s it.

At least Astudillo puts his bat on the ball and things happen. Castro just looks at strike 3.

 

Arraez seems to be criticized  here for not having any power. I wonder how many players this year have sustained a BA of between .340 and .350 for 300 AB's....let alone a raw rookie who wasn't even supposed to be at AAA this season? He has great bat control. Don't know what more anyone is expecting from this kid? Perfection? What an asset he has turned out to be.

Brother - this is "strawman's logic" - I've never heard a whisper of criticism towards Arraez by anyone this year...

There are some who continue to feel Astudillo has no value, but Castro is a total liability at the plate. I don;'t think his 'd' is enough to justify playing him when he can't hit a lick.

Castro has a slightly above league average OPS for the season.

That's league average for all positions, not just catcher.

In what way is a league average bat a "total liability"?
