DannySD Verified Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Thanks Seth! Of course nobody is totally under the radar at TD, but Vasquez and Astudillo weren't really discussed much last year until late. Wells and Wiel (and Arreaz) are my 3 guesses. From DannySD: "Who is an under-the-radar guy in the system you think will make their big league debut this year?"Good question because a lot of the starting pitchers we will see in 2019 made their MLB debuts in 2018. Lewis Thorpe isn't under the radar. Jake Reed has been on the radar for so long but could he be under the radar? So, going more under the radar... How about... Cody Stashak as a long-ish relief pitcher. He had a real strong 2018 season. We've talked a ton about Tyler Wells at Twins Daily in 2018 and if he continues to take strides, we could see him. As for a hitter, we might see Zander Wiel at some point in 2019.
less cowbell more neau Verified Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 First time caller, long time listener. Are Falvey and Levine signing players to short-term contracts for the sole purpose of flipping them in July? I'll hang up and listen to the answer on the radio. Thanks. Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I will predict 89 wins for this year's Twins. Do you take the over or under? Also, 200 home runs, O/U?
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
