VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Austin is hitting .263 with the Twins and has an HR every 9 plate appearances. He is batting 8th. I dunno, maybe M thinks that will get Garver and Cave better pitches to hit?

One of the few requests i've gotten while busking that i kinda succeeded at sounding out. Also some of the pilots sing it in a bar in the movie 30 seconds over Tokyo about the Dolittle raid.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Oh, and i see i am approaching 7k. What is it traditional to post about with that post?
slash129 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 It seems there are at least a few posters that are currently in the home team's territory. No matter how the rest of the season goes just remember ....
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Oh, and i see i am approaching 7k.What is it traditional to post about with that post? When in doubt Chief's age is always a good topic.
slash129 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Cave!!!! That was crushed!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 So that was what happens to a belt high fastball...
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Ugh. I hate this "opener" garbage. Really wish they weren't going this route.
jtkoupal Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Paul Molitor won't use the opener for Jake Odorizzi... But he's the one who needs it
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 There went the perfect game, no hitter, and shut out...
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Oh, and the lead...

slash129 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 We're still in this one ... I'm betting on Gallardo helping us out
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 There went the perfect game, no hitter, and shut out...And there went the quality start, way, way out there.
gil4 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Berrios might want to consider throwing some strikes that aren't launched into orbit.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 I was surprised Polanco didn't bunt those guys over in the first inning. Last night there was no doubt that his first inning bunt was instrumental in the teams 10 run explosion!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Berrios must have tummy problems again. No wait, that’s just me whenever he’s pitched the last few months. Can’t stray too far from the toilet
jud6312 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 So a bit off-topic, but who do we think will be up after the Rochester game on Monday? And, what moves can they make to allow for anyone not on the 40? Erv, Weapon X, and Slegers to the 60-day? The only one I can really think of that I'd like to see is Jake Reed.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 When in doubt Chief's age is always a good topic.I don't know about that... I like to try new things once in a while. I am sure he could explain it better.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Boy, Berrios sure hasn't been very good the last month. That's discouraging.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Uh... what about Vargas, Romero, Gordon, Anderson, Wade, and Reed?I don't think Gordon is ready and I'm not sure on Wade. With Austin on the squad, I just don't see any reason to give Vargas another shot, he should be in another organization now. Romero, Anderson, and Reed should all be coming up.
gil4 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Berrios might want to consider throwing some strikes that aren't launched into orbit. At least he got the strike part right.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Berrios buxton and sano. The foundation has some cracks, ladies and gents
gil4 Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Seeing a lot of 91 - 92 on the gun for Berrios
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 8 run 5th inning again anyone?
