I'm sure by now everyone has seen Corey Koskie's new venturee, ,Linklete. In it, there are articles from him and many others in an attempt to provided stories of youth baseball with life lessons and such.

Brian Dozier wrote about his senior season in college, his injury and what he learned from it.

Uh, no, didn't know this was a thing. Always love Koskie and his desire to make the world a better place. The site I plan to launch this fall has a similar idea or two.....

Cool.  I didn't know about this, either.  Koskie used to occasionally just show up at random youth sports games in the northern suburbs.  He'd have his kids with him...and thinking back on it, (various of my kids were in many of the sports in that area at the time), it was mostly hockey games, which makes sense given his work schedule.   But he'd just show up to watch...always with his little kids (2-4 years old at the time as I recall).  No connection to anyone there, just watching.

That's a great story by Mr. Dozier.

I tend to forget the on-field product is only a snapshot of what a team actually is.
