Kepler is fine. His BB and K rates are career bests. His LD % is right at his career norm. Extra base % also is career best. His BABIP is low, even for him. He’s got a .255 BABIP now, compared with .266 overall. I suspect shifts account for most of his low BABIP career wise. But that it is even LOWER when nearly all his peripherals are better suggests lousy luck at play. He does need to start working all fields to negate the shifts. I think he will in time. He made the adjustment vs LHP. This is the next step IMO.

The batting average, and the low BABIP is not fine. It is way low. Breakouts include batting average, or should, even in this day and age were new stats try to be used to say it doesn't. You hit .300 in this league, and the rest of the stats almost always fill in fine, and are then just for stat nerds, and I like stat nerds.

Twins look like they taking your advice.  There is nobody good on this team!  If you're pinning your hopes on Eduardo Escobar (and he has been very good) well - that speaks for itself.  Sano in particular has disappointed me.  He had a lot of potential.

June 7th. Only 5 games out. June 7th. This team is not just Escobar and Rosario. Dozier, Sano, and Buxton are eminently capable of an extended nuclear explosion. Mauer and Polanco will be back relatively soon. Morrison and Grossman seem to be getting over their funks. We can hope for a bit of help for Garver.

Sano still has all the potential in the world!

Tell that to Ben Revere!

I am sorry. Almost always almost always means almost always to me. In fact, it does. Not almost always, but always. Does it to you?

In regards to Revere, when he did hit .300, he always had a job, regardless of the power stats.

Woah chill. Just a harmless joke at the expense of a former twin, not a personal attack on you. Take it easy.

Ben Revere had one year with an OPS+ above 100 and that was 103.That's tough for a noodle-armed OF who is best in LF as a result. I think Ben Revere would be exhibit 1 for people putting a bit too much emphasis on .300 (and batting average).

Good grief!! It's June 7 and everybody seems to think the Twins are done for this year. There is a lot of games left to play. It's not like they are going to win every game. Nobody does.
