so you do believe that there is a conspiracy to help the Yankees, and no one has ever come forward about it in over 30 years? 

I actually do believe the allegations made by Selena Roberts when she uncovered ARod's PED use that people within the game were notifying certain star players (Yankees and Red Sox) of when they were going to be tested. The Mitchell Report cited to that as well, years earlier.

that's totally different, though. I believe in that also. I'm talking about hundreds/thousands of games being umpired differently, with dozens/hundreds of people in on the conspiracy.

Ah, gotcha. Then, no. I don't think the umps are purposefully helping the Yanks although I do think the tremendous pressure in places like Fenway and Yankee stadium helps the home teams b/c umps tend to help home teams. But that just means TF fans have to get rowdier.

I don't think it's a conspiracy, but I think it's absolutely real.

 

A great example would be Assembly Hall in Indiana when Bob Knight was coaching there. Indiana got every call.

but the research is clear, that's true for home court in general, or home field, or home pitch and not specific to one team. and yes, that's another argument for robot umps, imo.
