Stop bunting

I wish Molitor would actually teach these guys how to bunt. Its clear as day he doesn't. Its not a "lost art"...its fundamental. Everyone should be able to lay down a decent bunt and its pathetic that most of them can't.

I'm keeping an eye on the grass growing outside my door ... pretty much on pace with the game.

 

The grass has taken a slight lead over the game ... by a nose, if games or grass had noses.

 

But of course a lawnmower could change the whole complexion of this race in an instant!

Really good big league hitters are having a very hard time with Hildy, love watching him pitch. 

 

I would really like to see him get some higher leverage late innings work. I think he can be one of those late inning shut down guys...

Polanco is at least consistent at getting an error instead of a hit every game lately.

Agreed, he should face 6 guys at most per game, not 9. Not sure what Molly was thinking.

Getting a lot of time at the ballpark today. Two guys behind us could have a comedy podcast, they probably do... Who doesn't these days. :)
