Gray will likely cost more than Gordon...  though results wise, he's not bad.  We need pitching, that I won't argue with anyone on...  Gray for Gordon though is a pretty hefty price for 2 or so years of a guy who has put up good numbers in an extreme pitchers park.

Yes, he would.

It isn't like the Twins play in a hitters park. And Gray has even home/away career splits so perhaps people are looking to hard to find a fault. If the Twins traded for Gray he would instantly become the Twins best pitcher. Perhaps Berrios continues to be Liriano and takes that title but Gray is really good.

Elite only eliminates about 10-15 pitchers from the list so there are still plenty to choose from.

Name one good but not elite,and  not a rental pitcher that has ever been traded for a prospect in the mid 50's or less.

Or we could list all the fast movers..... None of the guys you mention have his pedigree. Not even close. Fear its no reason to not take risks. Fearful organizations of any kind rarely win.

Gibson was very highly touted and expected to move fast. Granted he did have a Tommy John in there. But he has been a disappointment. The point is you cannot predict how fast a kid will get to MLB.

Gordon for Gray too much?    Most of them I read said you are not going to get a Gray for a Gordon.
