What's up with Tyler Jay and Stephan Golsalves?

I've been following these two lefties since they were drafted, and believe they are injured right now. Would someone please let me know your thoughts and the prospect of them pitching in the near future, not for an extended period, or not at all this year? Thanks!

Gonsalves is a shoulder injury that the FO said was not as bad as last fall's injury.  He pitched  about 150 innings last year. If the current FO thinks the previous FO had pitched him too many innings last year they could be holding him back.  there is still plenty of time to get him in enough work this year.    Tyler Jay's injury  is bicep tenderness. Not much else is published, so it is difficult to get a guess on anything.

I thought I read Tyler Jay was in extended spring training now and is pitching well.  Of course Kyle Gibson pitched well in major league spring training, but the good news is he is healthy and pitching in games despite no statistical evidence.  I'd still expect to see him in the majors by seasons end if he's as good as he should be.

And while we're at it, what ever happened to Lewis Thorpe?

He was running at 10 K/9 in A ball as an 18 year old.

More recently there appear to be more sightings of Bigfoot than Thorpe.

I thought I read that he'd be pitching somewhere in the next month or two, but I bump my head a lot.

Wasn't his deal that he had Tommy John, and then while coming back from that he got mono?

Yes, I remember that now.

I thought, though, that we were going to be able to see some stats for him this year somewhere in the organization. He could be in EST after hardly throwing for two years. If he has yet another injury that is keeping him from pitching at this point then it occurs he is just snakebit.

Don't know how you get past that.
