My Twins Preview for CTTP

Warning - due to an eye procedure I'm going to have today, I wrote this roughly a week ago and it got published yesterday, so there were some changes in between that my editors didn't catch.

First of all, good luck with your eye procedure today. 

I generally agree with your prediction. The OF will be fun to watch gel together, the offense should be good to very good at times. Pitching is still going to hold back this team. 

I'm a bit more pessimistic than the PECOTA, Fangraphs, etc. projections. It will be a race to the cellar in the division between the Twins and White Sox. Both will struggle to win 70+ games.

77 games, eh? That's a bit more bullish than me but I hope I'm wrong. I'm still putting them in the 73 win range, maybe 74 if I wake up on the right side of the bed that morning.

My 77 wins is based on the team playing consistent 73-75 win ball all year and one of KC or Detroit going in the tank midseason, so they'd pick up a couple extra games that way.

 

I'm also figuring on Chicago selling off even further early on and being a 100+ loss team.
