caninatl04 Verified Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 College baseball started yesterday at least for Vanderbilt. #2 draft prospect Jeren Kendall went 2 for 4 with a walk and a strikeout and scored both of Vanderbilt's 2 runs. #4 Prospect Kyle Wright took the loss giving up 3 ER on 4 hits and 3 BB throwing 84 pitches over only 5 IP. No, I am not going to do this daily, but I will update the Top 10 or so at the end of March.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Good update! Thanks for sharing. Not sure this is Twins forum fodder, but could be minor league or other baseball. Did you see Wright pitch? Was it plan/execution type issues with 85 pitches in 5 innings, as in he was trying to nibble and couldn't quite hit his spot? Or was he all over the place? Was he hitting mid nineties on the gun?
