You guys might see me in the champions club during the game. I'm 5 rows back.

Nice job, Santiago, giving a hr to the first batter.

I don't know if I have ever seen anyone as hot as Dozier. He seems to get one pitch in his wheelhouse every AB, and hammers about 50% of them. If I was pitching to him, I would stay off the plate away. Mistakes hit the corner. If I walk him, I walk him. I don't think he has the patience to put up with that for too long, and would expand his zone. It's only ego that makes pitchers throw him strikes. One other thing about him. He doesn't appear to work the count, he hits the first thing he likes. I just watched Plouffe take a first pitch belt high hanger the size of a watermelon. Dozier would have his AB finished on that pitch.

I'm going to guess somewhere between very and pretty damn.

it happened during the rockies/ cubs series a couple weekends ago

How rare is it to have leadoff home runs from both teams?

I saw that at a game last season between the Cubs and the Nats. At least I think it was the lead off hitters. It was definitely two solo homeruns, one in each half of the first inning.

May turn into a whole bronze statue someday.

we all know how a few PAs can turn 350+ PAs irrelevant :-)

Also, has anyone actually called him a bust or have people said that so far he's been disappointing?

Yes. I guess that's kind of a Chief yes, but yes to both. I have seen people refer to him as a bust as well as those who think he's disappointing so far.

yeah, I've missed people calling him a bust.  I've seen discussion on what expectations he'd have to get to in order to not be considered a bust (expectations keep lowering), but I haven't seen anyone say he's a bust.  So, I guess I'll keep a lookout better for that.
