Seems like the red-neck (BB) is holding things down so far, fingers crossed.

 

I think, tho, we need to institute a new kind of 10-run rule:  No Jepsen unless we're already behind, or *cough*, ahead by 10 runs.

Getting a mix of radio and TV for the game tonight, and it's the kind of game that, if you saw it in spring training, you'd be like "Well... at least we're out in the sun with no coats on instead of freezing back in Minnesota".

I like how a soccer game can just end whenever the officials feel like it. "Oh 3 minutes of stoppage time. Might as well blow the whistle at 3:45"

Y'know, on a between-innings side note, I'm a bit surprised there's not been a sniff that I've heard about Ozzie.  I thought at first, that he'd be snapped up quickly.  Maybe they're working out a deal somewhere?  But, I've not heard even a whisper.

Y'know, on a between-innings side note, I'm a bit surprised there's not been a sniff that I've heard about Ozzie.  I thought at first, that he'd be snapped up quickly.  Maybe they're working out a deal somewhere?  But, I've not heard even a whisper.

The best my brain can figure is that if a team controls the ball in the opponents zone, the officials will let the clock run until there is a goal or the team on defense makes the stop.

Yep, they usually let the team that is losing have one last crack at it. Kind of lame. They could just, ya know, stop the clock
