Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I thought I'd seen some games go 10 innings if both managers agreed, but not past 10.I looked into it and yeah, games will occasionally go ten innings if both managers agree to it. Either manager can decline, resulting in a tie game.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 The number of innings (9 or 10) really depends on a. how early in the ST season the game is and b. how many pitchers there are left who have not pitched. Teams usually travel with just +1 than planned pitcher most of the time and early, when starters go 2, you will not see 10 inning games.
