Murphy: Fatherhood Grounded Mauer, but 1B Wants to Win

One of the more annoying things I read about Joe Mauer is that he doesn't care. Couldn't be further from the truth. 

 

Here is the entire interview that Brian Murphy had with Mauer at his home last week. They discuss the concussion, leadership, his demeanor, his approach at the plate, and a ton of other topics.

I couldn't agree more - I just don't understand this talk about Joe not wanting to win or trying his best or fill in the blank.
