Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Baseball America posted its International League Top 20 Prospects list this morning. There was just one Twins player on the list. No surprise. #9 - JO Berrios.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Thanks for posting, Seth. I usually stop reading BA at the end of the minor league season, so I would be missing this w/o your posts. And, no surprise.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I think I might be the only person on the planet not excited about Daniel Norris. He had one great half season in High A and a good strikeout rate prior to reaching the higher levels. I get that he's a lefty but that 91 MPH heater isn't going to get the same results at the MLB level. I just can't seem him having a ceiling any higher than an innings eating back of the rotation guy.

Everything I got on Norris has him at 93-95 mph and a plus offering. Add that with a plus slider and a future plus change, along with an average curve; if he can get ahold of his command he'll be a challenging TOR guy.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Hopefully he doesn't amount to anything as he's a Tiger now, the Jays traded him for Price.
