Mauer has one career walk-off hit. That's nuts.

That's because they walk him every time.

Is that a call?

[FattCrapps]

Serious answer. Just activated a couple days ago. If this game goes much longer, he might pitch in it.

Thanks String

Alright, shoot me.

[USAFChief]

Shudda bunted.

[DaveW]

So after tonight... there really is no reason not to call up guys like Arcia, Kepler, Polaco, Pinto, right? Can't have enough bench players for games like this?

[Squirrel]

Well crap.

[mickeymental]

say it ain't so, joe ...

[drock2190]

Twins playing like the Royals last week in that extra inning affair

[Squirrel]

Don't Shush me lady .

I'll shush you from jinxing it.

[David HK]

Oh, Joe....

[rghrbek]

Shudda bunted.

not so funny chief, agree.....

still think suzuki should've squeezed!!!!  dammit!

[ScrapTheNickname]

If the Twins don't score here the baseball gods will be very very leery of giving them yet another chance.

[Puckett34]

I know Joe has hit well with RISP all year, but c'mon man.  Gotta have that one.

[David HK]

I guess I'm the only one that "got" it.

Uh- uh-  I got a mini snot-bubble, too.

[Danchat]

The Twins definitely need to get Kepler and Polanco with the team ASAP (once their playoffs are over) so we can get some better pinch hitters.

[LaBombo]

Alright, shoot me.

Is this a reference to the impromptu snowball fight that broke out about the Republican debate?

[FattCrapps]

Where have you gone, Joe Mauer?  Our stupid ass forum turns it's lonely eyes to you.

Woo woo woo.

I know Joe has hit well with RISP all year, but c'mon man.  Gotta have that one.

He has been picking up teamates all year, time for someone to pick him up in this situation.

[James]

Sorry friend, that's a very sad story.

I know. It is pretty much the worst. Especially when it's not a particulaly good sour. Edited September 17, 2015 by James

[Ultima Ratio]

How many anti-heroes are written in to this third act?

[Squirrel]

Well crap. Robinson?

[David HK]

I'm making a call.

Sugar  Shane for the win.

[Squirrel]

I'm going to bed. Gonna be a long day tomorrow.

[rghrbek]

Had the start of a Bremgasm, then the center fielder ran it down...who doesn't want a Bremgasm at this time of night, it = a win...

[drock2190]

This has heartbreaking loss written all over it

[twinsnorth49]

They ****ed it up.

[David HK]

Well, Sugar gave it a ride.

Big blow that inning was Joe going down swinging.

[FattCrapps]
