Buxton sure has cooled off, dropping .35 ponits in 11 games. . BA from .287 to .252. (and more today now). Pinto now slumping, too. Bummer. Nice to have the Kepler news.

Really?  Why?  He is a an OK filler type but....he is 22 repeating Low A with a .761 OPS.  I get the fact there is not a lot to be excited about in the position players at Cedar Rapids but what about him makes you excited?

 

Murphy was just drafted last year and spent a month in Cedar Rapids. That's not'repeating' in my opinion. It'a like saying Berrios was 'demoted' to AA this year after finishing last year in AAA.

Murphy has all the tools. There is a LOT to like about hom.

 

Exactly, I remember he was a tear last year before being promoted to Cedar Rapids. I think it's fun cheering for an underdog or someone who isn't a top 10 prospect to succeed.

Complete game, 2 hit shutout. I think he did okay. 

 

Yep. I liked the fact that he threw 113 pitches too. Shows that he can hold up well over a 9-inning stint.
