Redmond on hot seat

Not really sure it's fair but Redmond is rumored to be on the hot seat.  Miami, a fashionable wildcard pick, is 3-10.  They have a few young stars (Stanton, Yelich, Fernandez) but not a lot of talent, really.  I'm not sure it's really fair to blame the manager but he could be gone.

We should snatch him up and make him a special instructor until the season is over, and then make him bench coach, but it won't happen.

Tough to say how truth is behind this rumor.  There seems to be a few people that are refuting this right away.  Then again, Jeff Loria has done some pretty unconventional (and sometimes confusing) things in the past.  

 

I could see it going either way, and I agree, if the Twins could snatch him up and make him a bench coach or something in the future, I would definitely be in favor of it.   

 

I'm leaning towards this being early season overreaction by fans and sports writers at the moment though.
