It's always been Aderling. Not sure where the Aderlin came from... And if you follow him on twitter, he has the 'g' on it.

There was a major league player by the name of Matt Batts from the 40s and 50s, no indication that they were related.

I agree. Remember these should be updated no less than once every other week. But if you read the daily minor league reports and monthly award winners and such, there are plenty of opportunities for updates. 

 

And again, we'd love to have more people , more minor league players, written about.

Besides the fact that this previously has not been standard procedure, it would be too tempting to have a link to various valuable and informative sites for each letter in each players' name. It is an idea, however.

 

You seem to forget the links to each adoptive "parent" though.
