Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I found this article on ESPN interesting. I know it is Mike Zimmer talking about being an NFL coach, but a lot of it could read as if Molitor was saying it part way through next year. It talks a lot about the challenges of being an NFL coach for the first time. I wonder if Molitor is going to reach out to Zimmer at any point...... http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/68583/mike-zimmer-qa-part-1-setting-expectations-dealing-with-adversity
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I hope Molitor reads that article and says "Thank the lord I'm not a football coach." Zimmer has had a rough go of it this year. So many things went wrong, so many things that were completely out of his control. I hope he turns the Vikings into a respectable franchise again, both on and off the field. I think he can do it but it will take time.
