Discouraging to hear this. Pinto getting time at DH with Vargas as 1B and Mauer with at least some time in LF is the best option for 2015. If they're not going to do this, Pinto may as well be traded....

Pinto could make a great trade chip. Why the Twins are content to let him be the backup catcher/bench bat is beyond me. Seems like a great fit. Way better than Fryer. Who cares if he's awful behind the plate? Dude can stroke a baseball.
