Ryan Boldt Seems to be having a good year so far:

131 AB .305 BA .412 SLG .381 OB% 19 BB & 21 SO.

If he stays healthy, and improves as he progresses, he could have a decent payday in 3 years

I'm going to ask a question about a player from Missouri since I'm not sure if he will be covered. What round is Monte Harrison expected to go in and what is the likelihood he signs? I've seen video of him and he is quite the athlete. He would definitely strengthen our pool of outfield prospects.

Here's a vine of him throwing down some dunks: https://vine.co/v/MJZqlVnXe52

He's a Day 1 or early Day 2 talent for sure. But he's also an elite football recruit committed to Nebraska to play both sports. I think that either a) raises his asking price or B) pushes him down draft boards. He's also a pretty good basketball player and that season just ended. My gut says he ends up in Lincoln to play both sports unless he absolutely blows up soon.

I'm acutally surprised the Twins don't target local HS talent with some of their picks. College guys are a bit of different story, but with HS guy, I think you could conceivably get someone to sign simply b/c they are being drafted by their favorite team.

Last year might have been the strongest MN draft class ever. Boldt definitely looks like a stud. Maybe the Twins can grab one of these kids later in the draft.

Perfect Game updated their state-by-state rankings. They list only Meyer and Hentges as potential Day 2 picks (through round 10) from the state of Minnesota. A handful of college kids from U of Minnesota and Mankato State made the Day 3 list. No other high schoolers did.

Jeren Kendall made the highest grade (Round 1-3). Grant Hockin was listed as a Day 2 guy.
