Not seeing it, Kimbrell is having trouble getting teams interested in his demands and his agent probably wants to gin up the appearance of other clubs being in the mix.

Yeah, this is one of those "they were in on Kimbrel and made an offer but he just didn't accept it" type scenarios.

Or they get him on a short bargain deal and he's grumpy and sucks.

Im sure the Twins are interested in Kimbrel in a 1/12 or 3/36 million contract. But if the Twins wont go after a 26 year old Machado cause we are still rebuilding, I dont see why we would sign someone like Kimbrel either.

Just another time where the Twins are being "used"  by agents claiming that they may get involved to drive up the price.

I would still need to see more improvement in the rotation and bullpen before I think it would be wise to make a push for a player like Kimbrell.
