We are going to have another year of Baldelli bashing, eh? The good run at the end of the season and mini playoff run quieted it down and had me thinking I might not have to endure more of it. Now you've got me thinking the only way the guy will ever get some respect from certain fans, or at least some welcome silence, is to win it all. SMH.- 126 replies

This year, not last year. Hopefully Ryan learned some lessons this year and can build on it.

I think there is some confusion here. I think his original reference was to the ball 4 that was 3 inches off the plate in the earlier plate appearance. I don't think anyone is questioning the last pitch, which was a strike and Max should've went for it. Not swinging was like leaving a birdy putt 3 feet short.

That's where I'm at. Progress was made, but it's well past time for more.

The first half of the season was frustrating because of the bats. The second half picked up and ended well. The playoffs exceed expectations. Pretty fun ride. I expect to be back next year and better, ready to take another step.
