    Why am I so angry that the Twins, who we watch and listen to so fervently without missing a game, we now have to figure out how to watch them at 1:00pm central? While the Yankee fans get to sit back, BOTH NIGHTS, and watch at 7:00pm (8:00 their freaking time).

    Edwar is an underrated beast. He's been a starter. I wish I knew how bad his third pitch is in order for him to be moved to the pen. I felt the same way about Graterol. That being said, I understand that Edwar fits the profile of a power reliever. I'm just really happy to see this bulldog up with the team. Starters are hard to come by. Let him fail as a starter before you throw him in the pen...not this year obviously.

    I'll say again, every time this FO has made a move, drafted, or signed someone that left me skeptical, I've been proven wrong about 100% of the time. I'm still curious about the 2017 draft with Enlow and Leech, but man, I wouldn't go against these guys in Hammerschlagen. They hit it on the head almost every time. We're fortunate to roll with these guys. The only question is how is Jeffers considered a top framer? I'm a definite fan of his, and have followed him from Elizabethton on up and have been impressed with his drive, determination, and improvement (especially defensively). That being said, when you watch him frame, he is lifting and pulling that ball back into the zone that any amateur umpire could recognize. If what he's doing constitutes a great framer, so be it.

Basically when the playoffs arrive you give the ball to your best players and ignore regular season stats." Hmmmm. So you don't go with who's hot, you go with who's not? Don't get me wrong. I get your logic. You want your tried and true guys out there, and not your overachievers. I'd love for Rogers to turn it around, but do you cross your fingers and hope he does it in the playoffs, and disregard how Wisler and Thielbar have been lights out whenever called upon? I just don't think it's an "obvious" answer.

    At the beginning of this season, I thought that seeing Kirilloff and/or Larnach was a given. I get there were other players who also deserved shots as well, but Kirilloff and Larnach are two impact bats that are just going to sit longer. I love the idea for Royce's speed, but...yeah.

    I remember watching a game and a foul ball went into the stands. The ball found its way to a young adolescent, and Bert just said, "Don't eat it." My favorite memory of Bert though was when Al Newman was our 3rd base coach. As someone rounded 3rd, Al was flailing his arms around. After the play, Bert said he'd like to congratulate Al, who was 9 months pregnant. Then the next day, during the game he said, "I'd like to send an apology to the Newman family for my comments yesterday.

    I saw this, but struggle with the simple fact we have so many outfielders, who could be first baseman (Wallner, Kirilloff, Larnach, Rooker, Wiel). We finally have a SS, who could be a dynamic outfielder in Lewis. Trade from our wealth, not our necessities.

    It's so hard to invest hardcore into a season that looks like it "should be safe to finish." Seeing what the Rockies had to give up for Givens was too much, and really turned me off. However, that being said, much like the Rockies, Rooker, Kirilloff, and Larnach are log jammed. I'd strongly prefer to move Rooker or Wallner, or even Cavaco before moving Larnach or Kirilloff. Sano is close to moving to a permanent DH role when Cruz is done, insert Kirilloff or Kepler. Rosario could get some return in the off-season with having another year of arbitration. Add a top ten prospect and another from the top 30, and we get some solid pitching. Bottomline, I'm in favor of no moves until the off-season.

    None of these guys do anything for a typical fan, or even many on this site. You have to be a complete numbers guy within the organization to appreciate what these guys COULD do. I'm just truly disappointed, yet not at all surprised to see Buxton and Donaldson sidelined.

    How could so many teams miss on Fernando Tatis Jr. and Juan Soto. Cripes!!! Vlad Jr. signed for less than Wander. How do you miss on talents such as Soto and Tatis Jr.?!?!

    I have THE hardest time feeling sorry for the MLB when it comes to losing money on the daily. It's crazy because I'm such a huge fan, but the amount of money they've completely raked from the American fan who attends games is obscene. I completely agree, there will be no place for the players to go if we drafted more than 5 rounds. However, if we did, it would assure the cities at risk of having a contracted team that they'd have a squad next year.

    ...aslo, he's seemed EXTREMELY bitter throughout this past spring training. He left, but he almost made it seem like it was the Twins who were at fault. I'm curious about this bloke. What's up with Lewis Thorpe?

    I like Rooker. He's performed well. I appreciate how he's improved. It'll be fun to see who comes out ahead after a Larnach/Rooker/Kirilloff outfield spot battle. All these guys have shown so much. Larnach and Kirilloff just don't strikeout as much, yet they still have a huge impact with the bat. If we are able to get through a World Series Championship season with all 3 of these guys still a Twin, one or two making an MLB impact, I'd be happy. However, I'd be happy seeing 2 of the 3 after a trade, with one of them making an MLB impact.

    Anyone else follow Thorpe on Twitter? Dude’s been discouraged almost constantly since he “left for personal matters”. I can’t read his between the lines crap on Twitter. Did the Twins wrong him, or is he upset for numbers people playing the numbers game?

    This was going to be my approach. Every time I'm questioning what's going on, by the time the impatience dust settles, I'm left feeling, "I'm glad we got these guys", in reference to Falvey and Lavine. They just might get us there. On the flip, I really really want Graterol to do well.

    It'd be nice to have Zander continue to grow and excel. He'd be much like a Jaylin Davis or Lewin Diaz come the trade deadline. With Rooker, Kirilloff, and Larnach looking for a shot, it's going to be very difficult for Zander to punch through and stick. He's made it this far, and I'd hate to see him sit in AAA because he has too much in front of him. Tough with Jaylin Davis, since we gave him away for 11 innings and 9 earned runs, but hey who's counting (not to mention Kai-Wei Teng and his stunning ERA out of the pen in Low-A). Jaylin was sent in part because he didn't have a chance behind our loaded outfield. His HR's would've fit well. Long story longer, there are many similarities with Zander Wiel. He's already 27 to boot. Let's get something for him and see if he can make something of himself elsewhere.

    If Kirilloff sticks to the outfield, he will make us forget about Rosario real quick. I'm a fan of Rosario when he's on. Love it. But when he's free swinging (even though he has improved there) or being lackadaisical/lazy, I just can't take watching him...Sorry Eddie.

    Far too much upside as a starter to not keep developing him there. The Derdgers are stacked enough with pitching. Give him an actual shot before considering him a failed starter.

    Completely agree. Every time I've shrugged at a move or decision by our front office, I have had to retract it. Still bitter about Brusdar not even getting a chance to be a starter any longer, but he's been shipped out. We have some good eggs in that high rise in left field. I trust them.

    Braves are a bit more liberal than our Twins when it comes to bringing up top prospects. And I admire that about them. They know guys can help them now, so they use them. They’re going to be great for a long while.

    I've seen Duran throw a few times now in the minors. He's one of those guys you stop your conversation for because of the pop you heard after the pitch. Don't get me wrong. When I'm at a game, I watch, but he just has that pop. I'm excited about this guy we got for a utility player...my favorite utility guy of all time.
