  1. Jeter is one. By the way, just curious, what’s Lewis’ arm strength like?
  2. How about Eihre’s homer off of Verlander to win the game?
  3. They have 2 players injured that can be used for the exception
  4. About gave me a heart attack when you said Ben was catcher to be named later. Thought he was involved in a trade somehow. Thank god he's still in the organization!
  5. Even if the Twins can win 2 out of the 6 it does a lot of harm. Puts the magic number at 12 with the Twins having 10 games against the Royals/Tigers and 6 other games in there. Indians would need to play perfect
  6. Have the opportunity to watch Rijo pitch today. Think Javier and Wallner will play as well? Bit of a drive
  7. Graterol throws 100 effortlessly, wow. That seems to be sustainable. He’s going to be fun to watch
  8. How about Alcala? I thought he might be better in relief but didn’t think he’d be this effective. Maybe we found a gem here?
  9. Wish I knew he would play there today. Would have made the short drive over
  10. The sound off Sanos bat was something you don’t hear too often. That was absolutely smoked
  11. Kepler has a good chance to get to 40. I remember when Yelich was with the Marlins, someone on here said Kepler projected similarly to Yelich. Last year when Yelich exploded I thought to myself that I wish that were true. Is he finally starting to break out? He is going to be special
  12. I don’t even want Thor. He’s overrated and the Mets are trying to dump him because of his injury concerns and the fact he’s never been able to throw 200 innings a year. Give me the pirates reliever and let the Mets keep Syndergaard
  13. Exactly. He’s expendable just like Noah Syndergaard is expendable. My biggest pet peeve here lately is the double standard some people have here.
  14. Look again in the off-season. Something will suddenly be different with “only 1 more month of data”. Of course you will claim something actually changed in that time
  15. If you really are reading into a mid season ranking you are a fool. Look again in the off-season. This isn’t THAT hard. You remind me of the people praising De Leon purely because of his ranking and not looking at the facts. I guarantee that less than 10% of professional scouts would rate Duran below either of those two as of this point in time. Btw that guy isn’t mid 90s, he sits around 92-94
  16. GMs aren’t stupid. They can easily see a difference between a soon to be 25 year old soft-tossing pitcher trending in the wrong direction and a rising 21 year old pitcher with an electric fastball. I really doubt most GMs would rate the Mets player above Duran
  17. Yeah even if you said Duran or Thorpe weren’t clearly better offer, you could easily throw in a guy like Jax, Luke Raley, Jaylin Davis or even Blankenhorn and it would easily beat it without including the top guys. Hell I think Duran by himself is better than the other 2 prospects
  18. Miami absolutely loved Diaz. Not sure many other teams would value him the same. Mets certainly wouldn’t have. Restock a position they’re interested in has some benefits
  19. Reloading pitching depth is a very underrated piece too if that is indeed what the Mets are after...
  20. Really like Lewin Diaz so tough pill to swallow but I really like this deal. Maybe reports are true that Mets want pitching and this will help keep some pitching depth in our minors as well. Diaz was expendable given his position. Hope he does well in Miami. Will be rooting for him
