    I didn’t want to say it before, but that was a great base running call by Holt taking 3rd. I also hate him for it.

    I’m guessing the frustration stems from the belief that the Twins ratio of wins and losses is significantly disproportionate to you ratio of complaints and compliments. That’s your right (within the rules of the site) but I hope you can see how raining on the parade can rub folks the wrong way.

    Teams trying to win now don’t typically trade one of their starters when there are plenty of prospects to deal.

    Maybe half tongue in cheek. Most trades involving a team giving up several players tend to include a Jake Cave or two.

    Maybe they’re just bringing him in to scout Iglesias, Garrett and Stephenson. Or even better, he’s got incriminating photos on the Reds GM.

    Yeah but when they look to include Cave in a trade for pitching it looks nicer to put a CF in front of his name than RF.

    Speaking of salary dumps, I might think eating Gregory Polanco’s 28Mish salary over the next two years (including buyouts) might interest the criminally cheap Pirates.

    Glasnow and Meadows were both post hype former prospects, Glasnow in particular, he was looking like a flat out bust. But both had MLB experience, which tends to be important to teams even if not for the fans. I’d look to flip Fernando Romero in a similar fashion. It would have been nice the Stephen Gondalves and Nick Gordon had stayed healthy enough to get some big league reps. I wouldn’t count out Luis Arraez being attractive to clubs though.

    His fastball has gained 2 MPH in velocity since May, I think there's reason to believe he's going to improve as the rust falls off. I'm fine looking for upgrades, but he might not end up being the starter that gets bumped. Coming into the year I figured his control would be an issue after such a long layoff, he's been really good about limiting free passes though.
