  1. I think any team trading for any Twins asset should be forced to take DanSan, too.
  2. A Dodgers fan on the MLBTR Facebook page suggested Stewart, Oaks and Stripling would be a more than adequate package for Dozier. I found it amusing.
  3. I carried the 2. Should I have shifted a decimal instead?
  4. Well now you're just being silly. That number would be his Park Adjusted Frameable Ball Flinging Rate (PAFBFR). I'm more interested in his UNadjusted Frameable Ball Flinging Rate (UNaFBFR), which we all know would be 24.73 K/9 or his XPacUNaFBFR - 38.94 K/9 - if Sean "X-Pac" Waltman were catching him, opposed to any other receiver. These are simple things ... please follow along.
  5. Can we all just stop criticizing DaveW and his sources and get back to the importance of pitch framing? Can De Leon throw a frameable ball for Castro to frame? That's the question on everyone's minds.
  6. Board cred? Seriously? I hope to God Dave doesn't care what his credibility is around here. Or anyone for that matter.
  7. Can you imagine how brokenhearted all of the lonely housewives will be when this comes to fruition? They'll be inconsolable. But just think how Brian's smile, hair and aw shucks attitude will play in La La Land. Wow. But seriously, I'll be happy either way - if he nets good prospects or sticks around and contributes ... so long as early season Brian doesn't stick around long.
  8. UGH ... I have a movie screening that I have to go to tonight. This needs to hurry up and happen before I go and turn my phone off or I won't be able to fully concentrate.
  9. I'll go ahead and bite and pretend that I would be Doogie got legit intel and I'll say, "no thanks." Having said that, this seems more to me like he's drawing conclusions about the need for veteran leadership, Napoli's availability and the Cleveland tie. Either way, it makes no sense for either side, IMO.
  10. Not surprised or disappointed by this. Pretty poor FA class all around and I'm ready to see what the young guys can do with a full season.
  11. Got it. Pitch framing. Thanks for the clarification.
  12. So, have we established whether or not pitch framing is a skill? If someone could clarify for me, that'd be great. I want to be excited by this, but I just can't. Pitch framing at the 5th best clip in baseball doesn't make up for the declining offensive numbers and declining CS %. I hope I'm wrong and I'm sure several of you will tell me just how wrong I am, but I foresee this ending the same way the last FA catcher signing did.
  13. Versatile, yes. But he's not particularly good at any of those positions either.
  14. Can't disagree with anyone added to the 40 today. And as others have said, just because guys like DanSan, O'Rourke, Grossman are there now it doesnt' mean they will be when the season starts. Who is everybody questioning not being added? After his return from the DL, Jones seemed to have good numbers and I was hopeful he'd be added. But maybe that injury will make people steer clear.
  15. I'm sure LaVelle has already got half of that story penned and he's just waiting for Joe to fill in the details. If he starts on it early enough, he can focus on his big "Where to Eat in Ft. Myers" stories and comb over MLB.com's Twins Top-30 prospects list to compose his prospects to watch article.
  16. I witnessed that garbage live. It was such a Bad News Bears I couldn't even be mad. The people in the stands around me were though. I've never heard a home player get booed like that before. It was actually quite impressive.
  17. Is there any chance this team doesn't surpass the '82 team in losses?
  18. Safe to say this lineup make Molly the Cartman of the Twins organization?
  19. I'm sure he's on the radar for next spring. When you're trying to rebuild a staff, you leave no smoldering garbage pit unturned.
  20. I'm so mad at myself for watching this garbage. But, knowing that soon I'll be stuck watching not baseball, I continue punishing myself.
  21. It has happened ... Dean, Milone and Albers in the same game. Eat your heart out, Logan Darnell!
  22. He'll probably need at least another 8-9 games. Wasn't there a time when the Logan detractors were told to calm down because he wouldn't get more than 7-8 ABs per week? What happened to that logic?
  23. Everybody's too beaten down to do much more than whimper over this ineptitude. It's really to the point of being surprising if Molitor doesn't put out an awful lineup.
  24. If Joe's quad(s) is/are so sore that he needs 3-4 days off to recover, then just sit him for the rest of the year. This is why I should never allow myself to watch the games with the sound on.
