    Now you're confusing Big Stone and Ortonville. lol And did he close down or is he just closed for the season? He used to only do the food part of it in the spring and summer. Fun fact, the guy who owned that used to be my Legion coach.

    Watertown has the Wal-Mart so that's the big one. Sioux Falls is the big city. Ortonville's actually even smaller, but they do have a Dairy Queen.

    I'd say this is a little more intense. They actually had to cancel the varsity football games back before I even played (so maybe the late 80s or early 90s) because there were too many fights ... in the stands. Parents, townies, students. It was pretty brutal.

    To me, Haley looks like just a guy. There's plenty of those out there - both inside and out of the system, and they're not difficult to find. He, along with Breslow, Rucinski, Wilk, Tepesch and Belisle, shouldn't be blocking anyone from either the 40-man or active roster. I'd lump Pressly - especially with an option remaining - in that group, too. If it's Burdi, Melo, Baxendale, Reed, Chargois, etc., I think any of them could add the same quality to the pen as those other guys, if not an improvement. The only "advantage" Breslow and Belisle have is their "veteranism," which shouldn't come into play for a team that I'm still not sold on as an actual contender.

    Injuries. Burdi coming off injury- plagued year, Reed injured, Cederoth injured, Jay injured, Chargois injured. I'm hoping that if/once Burdi shows he can stay healthy, the track will be a fast one. I do, however, wish they'd move a little faster with Melotakis.

    The fact they got anything for DanSan is an accomplishment, but you have to wonder just how bad Chapman is. He was just traded for the 3rd worst player in baseball over the last two years ... and the Braves had to throw in cash to get the deal done. That, combined with someone else's comment about him being out of options, gives me this sense of horror that we're going to see him sooner rather than later.
