  1. How is it physically possible for a guy that's performed this badly on the field to be even worse off of it?
  2. Man, if they have the parade route end up at the capitol like they did in '87, I'll be able to watch from my office. Dope.
  3. I think you're forgetting positional flexibility. It's not easy to be an average defender and subpar hitter at multiple positions.
  4. Nick Gordon who? I think we all know the next SS up will be Motter.
  5. Ha, after the 1-2-3 first I didn't want Molly to jinx it by sending him back out there. I didn't know just how putrid the Tigers lineup is right now.
  6. And now all is right in the world. So long, Frenchy.
  7. Boyd fears LaMarre. That's his "injury."
  8. If you had two dogs, I imagine during Frenchy's ABs it'd be something like this.
  9. I mean, I'm assuming that we don't view .592 as HOF level, so I'm not sure what .430 would be. Sugarland Skeeters?
  10. For anyone keeping track at home, Ryan LaMarre's career OPS is 162 points lower than Mark Davidson's.
  11. Is it because he's one of us by marriage? I know we love ones of us.
  12. We get it ... you love you some Ryan LaMarre. He's also struck out 41% or his MLB ABs and 33% including his time at Rochester. And his slugging is a whopping .324. The guy is AAA filler. And since when do ST stats matter? Wasn't Luke Hughes basically ST Jesus? How'd that work out?
  13. Good to see Morris still doesn't understand how Fox Tracks works.
  14. Alright, send Lynn to the showers on a high note.
  15. High scoring on the Tigers side or both? Because I don't see how the Twins put more than a couple up with that lineup.
  16. This lineup is proof as to why LaMarre can't be on this team - Molitor can't help but insert him into the lineup.
  17. Darla is Molly's nickname for Lynn
  18. It's true ... now if they could just get out of the Ryan LaMarre business. https://www.mlb.com/news/twins-promote-prospect-nick-gordon-to-triple-a/c-277800572
  19. It's also possible that I sprout a vestigial tail. Neither is overly likely, but given what I've seen from Wilson's swing, my money is on the tail.
  20. My guess is he hasn't played enough to graduate from the prospect list - still less than 100 career PAs.
  21. So, what exactly was it about his 2016 season that you didn't like? I really don't see a winning record, sub 3.00 ERA, and virtually no HRs allowed to players 3 to 3 1/2 years older than him as negative in any way. 2017 was bad, but I don't think you can honestly look at the rest of his numbers and say it's been bad. If you can, and seriously believe it, your expectations are WAY too high. The only thing I can see that hasn't been where most people would like it, is the strikeouts. But that's a pretty weak negative. There's more to pitching than Ks.
  22. Good to see another nice line out of Stewart. The lack of walks this season has been a pleasant surprise. Maybe not being added to the 40-man was a wake-up call, or perhaps he's still really young and is putting it together.
