The Minnesota Twins tallied a series-clinching win over the Rockies Sunday thanks in part to a strong effort by the bullpen. Down on the farm, Mario Sanchez and Sawyer-Gipson Long delivered strong performances. There was also some news on Wes Johnson and Matt Canterino. -
The Minnesota Twins had a nice bounceback victory over the Rockies Saturday. Down in the minors, Michael Helman went deep twice for the Saints and Christian Encarnacion-Strand walked it off for the Kernels. All that and more in tonight's system recap.

The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians went toe-to-toe, blow-for-blow the first two games of their series, leaving both pitching staffs depleted. So, naturally, the series finale was a 1-0 game. The Minnesota Twins played another wild game against the Guardians Wednesday night (6/22) at Target Field. Gio Urshela hit what should have been a memorable home run to put the Twins up late but the bullpen, who had already blown the lead once, squandered the opportunity. Down in the minors, Josh Winder had an encouraging rehab outing for the Saints. All that and more in tonight's system recap.

Luis Arraez provided a go-ahead three-run home run but the bullpen couldn't hang on and the lineup failed to deliver in extras. Down in the minors, Jermaine Palacios refused to be denied a home run, Matt Wallner hit a pair of homers of his own, Cedar Rapids pulled off a come-from-behind victory and both Ronny Henriquez and Sawyer Gipson-Long had encouraging starts. Sonny Gray returned to the Minnesota Twins Wednesday and delivered five shutout innings to help lift the team to a series-clinching victory in Seattle. Luis Arraez provided a couple of insurance runs late, capping a great at-bat with a two-run single. Down in the minors, Yunior Severino belted a pair of impressive home runs in Cedar Rapids while reliever Evan Sisk had an impressive Triple-A debut for the Saints.
