In addition to discussing the minor league action, I went through my entire top-30 Twins prospect list and provided some updates and recent trends on each player. There are also highlights of Alex Kirilloff, Edouard Julien and Christian Encarnacion-Strand from tonight's action.

Sonny Gray returned to the Minnesota Twins Wednesday and delivered five shutout innings to help lift the team to a series-clinching victory in Seattle. Luis Arraez provided a couple of insurance runs late, capping a great at-bat with a two-run single. Down in the minors, Yunior Severino belted a pair of impressive home runs in Cedar Rapids while reliever Evan Sisk had an impressive Triple-A debut for the Saints.

I had this crazy dream the Minnesota Twins hit back-to-back-to-back home runs to lead off the game against Yankee ace Gerrit Cole. Weird, right? Too bad I had to wake up from that one. Anyway, down in the minors the St. Paul Saints had an incredible comeback while down to their final out that was capped by a Spencer Steer walk-off home run, his eighth in just 16 games since joining the Saints. The Minnesota Twins continued their woes against the Yankees, losing 10-4 Tuesday at Target Field. Jorge Polanco had a strong effort, registering four hits including a home run. Down in the minors, Sawyer Gipson-Long delivered another quality start for Cedar Rapids, lowering his ERA to 1.99 in the process. Spencer Steer and Tim Beckham lifted the Saints lineup once again, as St. Paul scored 10 runs.
