The Minnesota Twins prevailed over the Dodgers Wednesday afternoon at Target Field, winning 3-2. Edouard Julien had both his first multi-home game and his first homer off a lefty. Christian Vázquez and Carlos Correa combined to make a pair of magnificent defensive plays and the bullpen was outstanding once again. Down on the farm, Zebby Matthews dazzled in his 2024 debut for the Kernels. Also featured tonight are Matt Bowman, Ricardo Olivar, Rubel Cespedes, Byron Chourio and Brandon Winokur. View full video -

While both the Twins and Kernels were postponed due to rain Sunday, Rayne Doncon continued his hot start for the Mighty Mussels. Meanwhile, both the Saints and Wind Surge are wishing they had been postponed, as there was some sloppy play in losses for both of those clubs. A five-run inning capped by a Ryan Jeffers three-run homer led to a 7-3 Twins win, a series split in Milwaukee and a winning season-opening road trip. Down in the minors, Simeon Woods Richardson had a great start going for the Saints before a rain halted that game. He had thrown five shutout innings and topped out at 95.1 mph.
