    There were a few dingers tonight. Of course, you expect that at 7,000 feet in elevation. Fuegos won 8-4. And we had a great birthday party, with plenty of little kids pandemonium. Got home too late to catch the end of the game. But will try to catch some highlights. Must have been a fun one to watch. Go Twins!!

    I’m at Fort Marcy Ballpark to watch the Santa Fe Fuegos play the Garden City Wind. Beautiful evening for it, and for my daughter’s sixth birthday party (she did this last year and asked to do it again this year!!). Hope to catch the end of the game, but it’s unlikely. Go Twins!!

    Of all the bad luck the Twins have had this year, this is the saddest part of the season by far. I hope Joe feels better soon.

    Kipnis hasn’t been good in a while. Have to think Dozier’s upside is much higher, too. Not sure where Escobar fits in the starting 9. Third and short are taken by the Indians. Sano makes the team as a first baseman. Not sure anyone displaces Encarnacion at DH. Ultimately, I think they are just a more talented team.

    If you were to pick a starting 9 from the combined teams, how many Twins get in? Off the top of my head, I’d say Rosario, Dozier and Kepler. Maybe Sano. Not sure if anyone else would crack this Indians lineup.

    Agree. Looked like LoMo touched the bag and threw to home. Unclear whether Brantley touched home with a finger tip, but not enough to overturn. And throw to first after the tag at home got Encarnaxion anyway. Tired looking Reed got bailed out big time.

    I just finished a trial where hunters were very interested in the outcome. A bunch of them came to court in camouflage every day (10 days), and they were easy to spot.
