  1. As a moderator I accept responsibility for letting this thread get off track. IMO, the original post was too political, then predictably things spun out of control. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM FURTHER PERSONAL ATTACKS AND POLITICAL DISCOURSE, AND FOCUS ON THE POTENTIAL IMPACT OF THE PROPOSED CHANGE IN THE TAX LAW ON THE SALE OF THE TWINS.
  2. Buxton looking for a grand slam when he could just hit a productive line drive.
  3. This is a good opportunity for Funderburk to get in some work.
  4. Maybe next time. We need insurance run(s).
  5. Nice knock by Buxton. Did not try to kill it.
  6. Clemens and France have become two of my favorite players.
  7. Rocco should have pulled him before this batter.
  8. Ryan throwing too many pitches in too short of a time.
  9. I hope that all Twins fans enjoy the rest of this holiday weekend and that we sweep the Rays.
  10. Despite today, this was a good homestand.
  11. Clemens has been a pleasant surprise this year.
  12. Twins need just one hit to tie the game.
  13. Translation? I would click like but I don't know whether you are praying for the Twins or the Tigers.
  14. Let's hope that it's a minor blip and that it causes players to be more careful in the future.
  15. In my opinion, if the outfielder makes the call soon enough and loud enough then any collision is the fault of the infielder. Otherwise I would blame the outfielder. That said, I acknowledge that the may be close situations where neither is at fault or both are at fault. I am praying that both players recover quickly and suffer no lasting consequences, and that all of the players learn from this. As I recall, Jason Kublel blew out a knee from colliding with another outfielder and was never the same. I am still sad about that.
  16. What I taught players in little league was that the outfielder needs to make the call LOUDLY and the infielder needs to get out of the way.
