    I used to love the Vikings/NFL way more than I ever did even the Twins until about 10-15 years ago. Don't get me wrong, I still watch the Vikings most Sundays, but it's not must see for me anymore. The new information on CTE's doesn't help. But what did it most for me was the 2009 NFC championship game. It helps, for myself anyway, that a Twins game is far more affordable to attend than a Vikings game. Plus going to a ballpark is more fun to me than a football stadium.

    I can almost not handle the past 4 weeks. Gotta keep those expectations in check though. I've said it before, and maybe just to myself, that hovering around .500 and improving individually and as a team is a-ok with my for this season. Meaningful baseball in Aug-Sept-Oct is good experience for the young guys.

    Right?! I wish my paternity leave would get to 10/27 so i could binge watch before heading back to work. Alas, the little one will be here much to soon for my leave to reach Halloween.

    What's even more crazy is the Twins ended the day 67-46 and were still 8.5 games back. Those Tigers really slid being 76-38 as the Twins surged. One of my favorite seasons. September of 2009 was pretty sweet too.

    Just came here to say that tonight probable starter for the Brewers, Brandon Woodruff kind of looks like Fulton Reed from Disney's early 1990's classic, The Mighty Ducks. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/images/players/head_shot/605540.jpg Now, I'm not saying they're the same person. I'm just saying that I've never seen them in a room together at the same time. Go Twins.
