  3. I returned from The Fort last Sunday. It was my 15th ST in a row completed. Unfortunately, due to family obligations, I can't spend every day there, but I managed 2 games and 2 mornings of watching 'stuff.' Mostly what I tell everyone and anyone, ST is just one of those 'must dos' in life. Watching the former, current and someday come together in one place is something special. Oh, and get the fried cheese curds to go with the beer!
  4. Okay, guys, dial it back a bit. This crosses the line into yuk!
  5. Thanks, JB! The more you post these, you can chalk it up to physical therapy! Maybe you've added a 3rd finger to your typing repertoire now?
  6. Nolasco v Karns. Lineups when I get to a computer and not my phone.
  7. Well, and then sideways, too, if you want everyone to think you are me.
  8. Um, you need to post these to START the thread ... does no good once the games are over.
  9. I don't think he was ever truly an option for starting. Maybe on paper or in the press it was hinted that it was a possibility, but I don't think it really was in anyone's mind. It was a matter of saying one thing to appease, perhaps, but really thinking another.
  10. Concur with Jay and jokin ... I think this is what it will be ... at least to start the season. But ... who knows? I certainly don't.
  11. That's how it's listed now; but it wasn't when I did the lineups ... both on MN Twins website and Baseball Press website. Edit: And I've now switched it to match.
  12. Oops ... left off the 'F' in 'CF' ... fixed for now!

Keep me posted ... I'll be working!
  14. They do flash pitch speed up on the board at Hammond.
  15. Ah, so you're to blame for this. Sheesh. I'm at work ... check the score at lunch, it's 10-3 ... now? bleh. whatever. spring training and all.
  16. Back at work after my break in The Fort ... just checking into the game now. Looks like everyone is doing their job!
  17. I assume you are on your phone. I'm not sure how to post in the mobile version, but if you go to the bottom and click on 'Full Version', then choose 'More Reply Options' then follow the prompts ... choose file, etc.
  18. TWINS Hicks CF Escobar SS Dozier 2B Vargas 1B Plouffe 3B Rosario LF Nunez DH Pinto C Robinson RF Hughes, P ORIOLES De Aza RF Hardy SS Davis 1B Jones CF Wieters C Machado 3B Snider DH Lough LF Flaherty 2B Norris, P Talk if you must. Or not.
  19. It only means that there were too many starting pitchers playing games that first week and only pitching 2-3 innings and everyone needed to get in some regular work that that's just how it worked out. Even going forward it might not mean that much until starters are consistently going 4-5 innings. Then we'll see. Last year I was right in my prediction with Gibson. This year I just really have no idea. Before games were starting I would've given May the best shot but I really think it could go a number of directions. But I'm preparing myself for May and Meyer starting in AAA, and that makes me a little frustrated. Something has to give (ie a trade).
  20. Some people not making a good case for themselves. Let's see if we can't get this into the win column instead of a tie.
  21. Although, as starters go longer into games, and with a lot of decisions left to be made regarding the starting rotation and the bullpen, they need to give the innings to other guys so Berrios needs to get his innings in then in minor league camp. Still, thought he'd make it to the next cut.
  22. Yuck. That was not a quality outing
  23. I get Buxton, but am a tad surprised that Berrios isn't up a little longer. True, he wasn't going north with the team this year, but I thought maybe they'd keep him in the big league camp a little longer.
  24. Was at the ballpark this morning ... sell out today. Hot, humid and sunny ... great day to be packed in like sardines.
