    I haven't heard much lately of Buxton's injury ... last I heard was 4-6 weeks? Can't imagine they wouldn't have him spend some time in Rochester first?

    Dave, I think you are patting yourself on the back overly much these days. But, okay.

    What impresses me is his approach at the plate ... he lays off what he should, swings at what he should ... good eye/discipline there. You expect him to hit the ball hard and far ... but his patience at the plate ... impressive. That isn't something you necessarily expect from a rookie just up from the farm, and so young.

    yeah ... I remain cautiously hopeful he's turned that corner and sticks. He's been fun to watch lately ... but most have been lately.

    The Cubs' broadcasters played it, a few times. Not all the way through, but there it was ... as if Minneapolis has no one famous other than MTM. Although ... I did take a few moderators on a mini-tour of Mpls last August, and we drove by the house.
